It seems romantics across the country are turning to Google for some Valentine’s Day inspiration ahead of the holiday, just days away.
Valentine’s related searches, broken down state by state, show a degree of diversity with love poetry on the minds of some, while dating apps are on the minds of others.

What food to serve up is clearly of interest in a number of States.
Vermont is looking for its native ‘Ben and Jerry’s’ ice-cream while Alabama is searching for fancy Filet Mignon recipes and Michigan, heart-shaped pizzas.
Edible arrangements crop up as the top search items in three states including New York while Oregon wants Cheese Fondue Recipes.
Lobster seems to be the dish of choice for those looking up Valentine’s Day culinary inspiration in Montana and Alaska.
Chocolate and candy still remain firm favorites with Colorado Googling Russell Stover and New Hampshire, Lindt Chocolate.
Idaho and Wyoming are not so concerned with what food they’ll be eating on the big day and are searching for dating apps, perhaps a sign they are looking for love ahead of Thursday.
While in California and Florida, friendship is a high priority with the most searches for ‘Friendship Day.’
Kansas doesn’t appear to be as lucky in love as some other states with ‘broken heart syndrome’ the top Valentine’s related search.
Meanwhile, the rather less romantic Arizona and Tennessee apparently want information on STI’s, Googling ‘venereal disease.’
North Dakota and Minnesota appear to be looking to send Valentine’s wishes a little further afield and are searching for free eCards.
