A shooting at a synagogue in California has killed one person and injured several more. A man has been arrested and is being questioned in San Diego county. The synagogue was holding a passover celebration. It’s exactly 6 months since a gunman killed 11 people at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.
The United Nations said Cyclone Canister has completely wiped out some villages in northern Mozambique. After flying over the affected areas to inspect the damage, an official from the U.N humanitarian agency said some settlements looked so have been flattened by bulldozers . Mozambique is still recovering from cyclone Idia which killed hundreds people last month.
